Φ75um 1550nm InGaAs Multimode fiber Pigtailed Photodiodes


The PL-1500-IG-AR0075-FMA is a 75um InGaAs PD housed in a hermetic 3 pin coaxial package. The InGaAS PD is coupled to a (50/125um or 62.5/125um)Multimode mode fiber pigtail. The low noise, overload tolerant PD makes the devices ideal for OTDRs, DTS application. Devices can be pigtailed with any size optical fiber that is compatible with its active area size. Pigtails range in core size from 3um to 100 micron. One meter is the standard length, but any length or connector termination may be specified. Pigtails may be terminated with ST, FC, SC and LC connectors with either PC or APC polish.

Precaution

1.   Radiation emitted by laser device can be dangerous to the eyes. Avoid eye or skin exposure to direct or scattered radiation.

2.   The modules should be handled in the same manner as ordinary semiconductor devices to prevent the electro-static damages, For safe keeping and carrying, the modules should be packaged with ESD proof material. TO assemble the modules on PCB, the workbench, the    soldering iron and human body should be grounded.

3.  Please pay special attention to atmosphere condition because the dew on the module may

cause some electrical damages.

4.  Under such a strong vibration environment as in automobile, the performance and reliability are not guaranteed.
